Expectations

I do not agree that men should be the bread winner of the household. We tend to put a lot on men by expecting them to hold the household down, be a protector, a enforcer and be the backbone! Yes they should contribute a lot but not all of the earnings coming in. Women we are capable just as men are to go out there and make a decent income. Nothing is wrong with wanting a strong man but ladies but you cannot ask for a man to be strong if you're not. Growing up men have always been told how a man is suppose to carry himself way before he even knew the meaning behind the words. Society has put a lot of pressure on these men's shoulder that can be somewhat unrealistic. Men have and will always be looked at as the stronger sex. Back in the day men were the ones who stood in the forefront while the women stayed in the house. However, this time in age women are now the go getters but does that make a man less of a man because he's not the sole provider?
