Sacrifices

When I seen this picture I couldn't help but to think how much we as women give up when we fall deeply in love with a man. We will give our man our very last just to make them happy or fight for a relationship that we know is not good for us but yet we still stay even though we're unhappy. I never really realized how much we as women sacrifice in the name of love. Some  of us even lose ourselves while being in a relationship. In the name of love we tend to stop doing what we enjoy; hanging out with friends and family, going out and doing me time. When we are in relationship I've seen how women will put their man's needs before their own and yes it's a nice gesture but to never be put first is wrong and always coming last or not at all is unfair to you. We tend to give and give until there is nothing left no longer are we happy no longer does our spouse give us butterflies or make our heart skip a beat but yet we stay. The person we once were is no longer there we are now defeated and broken down and it takes some time for us and even years before we are really ready to leave but when we had finally enough we leave. And the old us takes some time to come back because when being in that relationship it took a toll on us physically, emotionally and mentally. However when we leave we take back our most prize possession our heart something we shouldn't give away to someone who doesn't deserve it.
